By using sigcue.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site. This is a plain-language agreement for an early product. It is not legal advice.

What sigcue is

sigcue is a market research and evidence tool. It helps people inspect recurring problems discussed in public online communities.

It is not a bank, broker, accelerator, law firm, or investment adviser. It does not sell the products discussed in source communities.

What sigcue is not

Nothing on this site is advice to build a company, invest money, hire anyone, or take any specific commercial action.

Public complaints do not prove market size, willingness to pay, demand, or business success.

Summaries and scores are directional. They can be incomplete, delayed, biased toward people who post publicly, or wrong.

Source platforms

sigcue is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GitHub, Shopify, Reddit, or any other source platform named on the site.

Trademarks and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify public discussions and markets.

Source availability and API rules can change. Some sources stay disabled until access and review allow them.

Your use of the site

Use the site lawfully and in good faith.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it in a way that harms availability, bypass access controls, or misuse admin areas.

Do not present sigcue content as proof of market size, guaranteed demand, or a recommendation from sigcue.

Accounts and local data

Public browsing does not require an account. Watchlist and notes stay in your browser.

Admin sign-in is limited to authorized operators. Unauthorized access is not allowed.

Content and evidence

Published evidence links back to original sources when shown. Always open the source before relying on a claim.

sigcue may update, reclassify, unpublish, or recalculate signals as evidence changes.

If a source deletes content, sigcue’s correction process marks and excludes that record from future metrics where applicable. Details are in How it works.

Intellectual property

sigcue’s site design, original writing, and product interface are owned by the site operator.

Third-party source content remains subject to the rights and terms of its original publishers and platforms. Quoting or linking does not transfer ownership.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.

If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of ten US dollars or the amount you paid sigcue for access in the three months before the claim, if any.

Indemnity

If your misuse of the site causes claims against the site operator, you agree to cover reasonable resulting costs to the extent allowed by law.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised terms.
